How to use

  1. After the steam, a thin layer over damp skin.

  3. Rinse, then the kessa glove.

  4. The glove: firm sweeping strokes, one area at a time, then rinse and hang it to dry.

Good to know

Full ingredient list: to be confirmed with the supplier before launch.

  • Patch test first.
  • It can tint skin and cloth; rinse the bath straight after.
  • Like every soap it is alkaline: rinse well and finish with the oil.
  • The glove goes lightly, never on broken or irritated skin.

Nila stains. Treat it with respect.

  • Gloves on before you grind or mix.
  • Cover the sink and the worktop, or work in the bath.
  • Rinse the bowl, the sink and your hands straight away. It marks ceramic, enamel and cloth if it dries.
  • It can tint skin for a day or two if it is left on thick.

What the research measured

Black soap

A soft Moroccan potash soap, traditionally used before the glove. Like every soap it is alkaline, so rinse well and finish with the oil. We found no published study of black soap itself.

Not claimed

We do not say gentle, pH balanced, purifying or for sensitive skin.
